Madame Hair has been blessed to receive recognition for our efforts since 2007. Yep we are fairly chuffed!

2009- Madame Hair won the Grampian Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" Runner-Up Award held in Aberdeen's prestigious Chamber of Commerce.

2009- Founder and Company Director Aisha Kasim won the 2009 "Career Achievement Award" at the Young Scottish Minority Ethnic Awards held in the beautiful Glasgow's City Council Chambers.

Along with Richard Reed, of Innocent Smoothies, Madame Kasim was invited to share her own business journey at the 2010 Young Enterprise Award Ceremony at the Marcliffe Hotel, Aberdeen. It was an inspiring evening all round and would have been even better if a certain someone had remembered to switch on her camera and video the event for our Madame Hair YouTube channel.. oppss...!

In the Scottish "summer" of 2009 Aisha Kasim asked to be the first youth mentor at the three day activity based Enterprise Business Challenge held in Aberfolye organized by the Enterprise North East Trust.

Madame Hair embraced the opportunity to support the North East Business Gateway by speaking at their Women into Business events. An avid supporter of youth enterprise and women in business Madame Hair has worked with local and national business enterprise organizations such as the Princes Scottish Youth Business Trust and North East Enterprise to encourage these groups. Ms Kasim has also shared her business story in schools across the North East of Scotland.

Madame Hair supports local charity shops gets involved in events to help raise awareness of the choices available to people with medical conditions affecting hair. We actively try to remove any stigma attached to wearing wigs or hair pieces because we strongly believe in our mantra "Simply, life and hair is often just too short!"
